Description	*Mr. Sidney L. Martin, lecturer in Department of Chemistry was a student at Wolmers Boys School and the Jamaica Scholar for 1937. He studied Chemistry at the Royal College of Science, South Kensington, London and received a Masters Degree in 1942. He joined the staff of the University College of the West Indies at Mona in 1949 as Senior Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry and also served as warden of Taylor Hall. He was later appointed Principal of the University College of Arts and Science in Bridgetown, Barbados, with effect from October, 1, 1964.
