Description	*Student packing his suitcase at Gibraltar Hall, UCWI, Mona. This was the first hall of residence built at the UCWI , Mona, Jamaica. The UCWI was built on the Gibraltar Camp grounds and extended in time. The Camp consisted of a square mile of barbed-wire, housing for staff, elevated sentry stations, a Nunnery and sleeping, dining and 'ablution' facilities, all of which had been constructed to accommodate World War 2 internees. The first lecture at the UCWI was in Pre-Medical Chemistry in a hut on Gibraltar Camp
